Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how Sly Crow Games handles information when you visit slycrowgames.com, play Zoti’s Train Workshop, or contact us. Sly Crow Games is the independent studio of Vladimir Filonov, based in Batumi, Georgia. For the processing described here that we determine, we are the data controller.

For privacy questions or requests, email info@slycrowgames.com.

Your choices at a glance

  • Gameplay analytics is optional and is off until you agree to it. You can play without enabling it.
  • You can change your choice in the game’s Settings, using Share gameplay stats.
  • Turning sharing off stops future gameplay analytics collection. It does not automatically delete information already sent.
  • To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us.

Information in Zoti’s Train Workshop

Optional gameplay analytics

If you agree, the game uses Unity Analytics, a service provided by Unity Technologies, to help us understand puzzle difficulty, completion, and how players use the game. We use this information to improve the game.

Our gameplay events record:

  • When a level starts, is completed, or is left before completion.
  • The level number, whether it is a replay, time spent actively solving it, number of pipe rotations, and the reason an attempt ended.
  • When an Endless Mode puzzle starts or is completed, its board dimensions, solving time, and number of pipe rotations.

Unity Analytics also processes technical information, including an IP address, an installation-specific identifier and analytics user identifier, session information, timestamps, game version, operating system, and device and hardware information. These identifiers let the service associate events with an installation. This information is pseudonymous, not completely anonymous.

Our custom gameplay events do not include your name, email address, Steam account name, or Steam ID. We do not use this gameplay analytics integration for advertising or sell the gameplay analytics data.

Unity processes analytics data on our behalf. See Unity’s Analytics privacy information and Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy for details about its services.

We rely on your consent for optional gameplay analytics. Declining or dismissing the consent prompt leaves analytics off unless you previously enabled it. You can withdraw consent at any time by switching off Share gameplay stats in Settings, without losing access to gameplay. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew consent.

The game saves your privacy choice, game settings, and progress on your device. If you enable analytics, the analytics service may temporarily store events on your device before sending them when a connection is available. Local saves are separate from analytics records.

Steam

Steam provides the store, distribution, and platform features such as achievements. Valve processes information through Steam under its own Steam Privacy Policy. The game’s analytics choice does not change Steam’s separate privacy settings or processing. We do not receive your payment card details when you buy the game through Steam.

Information on this website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. The hosting service can process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time, to deliver and protect the website. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement.

The site currently has no Google Analytics integration enabled. It uses browser storage and cached files for site functionality, such as display preferences and loading resources.

Some pages load fonts, scripts, or styles from external providers, including Google Fonts, jsDelivr, and cdnjs. Requests to those providers disclose connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Pages containing embedded YouTube videos can also connect to YouTube and allow it to process information or use cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy. Visiting external links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.

The game’s Share gameplay stats setting controls in-game analytics; it does not control these website or third-party services. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include, such as your name, message, screenshots, or diagnostic files. We use it to respond, provide support, and handle your request. Please avoid including passwords, payment details, or other information that is unnecessary for your request.

Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, maintaining our services, and resolving problems, or on steps needed to fulfil a contract with you. We may also process information where necessary to meet legal obligations.

Who receives information and where it is processed

Information is handled by the studio and service providers needed for the purposes above, including analytics, website hosting, and email delivery providers. We may disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect rights and the security of our services.

Service providers may process information outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, these include the contractual protections provided by our service providers. Unity’s Data Processing Addendum describes its processing and transfer arrangements.

How long information is kept

Unity’s published Analytics retention rules distinguish between raw events and other records: raw event data is kept for 13 months, while dashboard metrics and user profiles can remain until the player requests deletion or the developer removes them. See Unity’s Analytics FAQ. Do not assume that all analytics information disappears automatically after 13 months.

We keep support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to answer your enquiry, resolve related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. The relevant service providers manage their own operational logs under their policies. Local game saves and preferences remain on your device until you remove them; uninstalling the game may leave local settings or platform backups behind.

Your privacy rights and deletion requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and complain to your local data protection authority. You can withdraw analytics consent in Settings at any time.

To exercise these rights, email info@slycrowgames.com with Privacy request in the subject and tell us which game or service your request concerns. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify the relevant records. Because gameplay analytics uses an installation-specific identifier rather than your email address, an email address alone may not identify those records; we will help you determine the information needed.

Turning analytics off and deleting previously collected analytics are separate actions. Deleting analytics records does not itself delete your local game progress or Steam achievements. Requests concerning your Steam account or other third-party accounts should also be directed to the provider concerned.

Children’s privacy

Optional analytics should remain off where a player cannot provide valid consent under applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data without the required consent, contact us so we can investigate and address the request, including deletion where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where a change requires a new consent choice, we will ask for it before the relevant optional processing begins.
